Simon Says Stamp "Cherished" BLOG HOP + GIVEAWAY

Hello everyone! Today's post is part of a blog hop to celebrate the new "Cherished" release by Simon Says Stamp and you are going to love it!

 ¡Hola a todos! La entrada de hoy forma parte de un "blog hop" para celebrar el lanzamiento de la colección "Cherished" de Simon Says Stamp. ¡Os va a encantar!


 I'm totally in love with all the stitched flowers that Simon carries and the new "Summer Flowers" are no exception. I colored them with Copic Markers and arranged them around a frame created with the new "Wonky Rectangles" dies. 

 Estoy completamente enamorada de todas las flores "cosidas" que tiene Simon y las nuevas "Summer Flowers" no son una excepción. Las he coloreado con Copic Markers y después he usado un marco creado con los nuevos troqueles "Wonky Rectangles" para enmarcarlas. 



For the background I used three colors of Distress Oxide Ink (Fossilized Amber, Worn Lipstick and Wilted Violet) and sprayed a bit of water over it. Once it was dry, I heat embossed a sentiment from the stamp set "Thoughtful Messages" and put everything together with foam tape.

 Para el fondo he usado tres colores de tintas Distress Oxide (Fossilized Amber, Worn Lipstick y Wilted Violet) y después he echado un poco de agua por encima. Una vez seco, he embosado en blanco la palabra "Thanks" del set "Thoughtful Messages" y lo he unido todo con cuadrados de espuma.

    This card takes me right back to the pool area of a really pretty summer vacation spot we visited. I can hear the beachy music from the deck bar, smell the suntan lotion, and hear the kids laughing and splashing. Those flowers were all over in huge pots next to our pool chairs. Thanks for a fun memory!

    Thank you for sharing your gorgeous card! Your coloring is fantastic! I started using colored pencils on my watercolor flowers in much the same way. It really makes a difference and accentuates the design.
