Bright Hello

Hi everyone! I know, I know, I'm oversharing :). My mojo was in a good mood last week and I managed to make a bunch of cards at once. I won't lie though, I wasn't sure about sharing this one, but if I only shared cards I'm completely satisfied with, I would never do :).

¡Hola a todos! Lo sé, lo sé, me estoy pasando :). Tuve una buena racha de inspiración la semana pasada y conseguí hacer varias tarjetas en pocos días. Aún así, voy a ser sincera, no estaba segura de enseñaros esta tarjeta, pero si solo compartiera las tarjetas que me encantan, nunca compartiría nada :).

Birthday Tag

Hi everyone! It's been a minute right? I'm so sorry, it has been a crazy month, but I'm back now and for the next few days I will be sharing lots of projects with you :).

¡Hola a todos! Siento haber estado tanto tiempo sin pasar por aquí, ha sido un mes de locura. Pero ya estoy de vuelta y en los próximos días tengo muchos proyectos que compatir con vosotros. 

Today I made a birthday tag using a rainbow color palette and a stencil to create an interesting background. Then I used the "Fiddly Leaf" die and a printed sentiment to complete my little project. (You can find all the supplies I used at the end of this post)

Hoy he hecho una etiqueta de cumpleaños usando una paleta de color de arcoiris y un esténcil para crear un fondo interesante. Después he usado el troquel "Fiddly Leaf" y un sentimiento impreso para terminar mi proyecto. (Podéis encontrar todos los materiales que he utilizado al final de esta entrada)

You Are My Joy

For my card today I used the "Retro Layering Christmas Berries" stencil and "You are my Joy" die. I applied color with Distress Oxide Inks to a piece of white cardstock and then used the stencil on top of it applying a bit more pressure. For the second part of the stencil, the one with the details, I used embossing paste, although it didn't turn out exactly the way I intended. I expected it to stay white, but since Distress colors are water-based, they blended with the paste. Still liked the result though :). 

Para mi tarjeta de hoy he usado el esténcil "Retro Layering Christmas Berries"  y el troquel "You are my Joy". He aplicado color con tintas Distress Oxide sobre un trozo de cartulina blanca y después he usado el esténcil por encima, aplicando un poco más de presión al aplicar la tinta. Para la segunda parte del esténcil, la de los detalles, he usado pasta de embosado, aunque no ha quedado exáctamente como yo quería. Esperaba que se quedara de color blanco, pero al tener las tintas Distress base de agua, se than mezclado un poco los colores con la pasta. Me gusta el resultado igualmente :).
