My kid's Birthday Card

Hi everyone! As I told you at the beginning of August, this is a very special month in our family because it's my first kid's birthday. I make him a card every year, I write my wishes for him inside and then keep it in a box so he can have them all when he's older. This is the card I made for him this year. 

¡Hola a todos! Como os comenté a principios de agosto, este es un mes muy especial en nuestra familia porque es el cumpleaños de mi hijo mayor. Cada año, le hago una tarjeta, la escribo, y se la guardo en una cajita para que pueda tenerlas todas cuando crezca. Esta es la tarjet que le he hecho este año. 

I used the stamp set "Birthday Bears" by Simon Says Stamp to make this card. But keep in mind this is not a standard size card, I made it smaller to fill up the space, that's why those balloons might look bigger than they actually are. 

I colored the image with Copic Markers, cut it out using its coordinating dies and placed it on a stitched rectangle where I previously stamped the sentiment. 

He usado el set de sellos "Birthday Bears" de Simon Says Stamp para hacer esta tarjeta. Pero tened en cuenta que no es una tarjeta tamaño estándar, la he hecho más pequeña para rellenar el espacio, por eso los globos pueden parecer más grandes de lo que realmente son. 

He coloreado la imagen con rotuladores Copic, lo he cortado con los troqueles coordinados, y la he colocado en un rectángulo de cartulina con falso cosido donde previamente había estampado el sentimiento. 

White Flowers

Hello! For today's card, I chose a minimalist look and added color only to the background while keeping the rest of the elements completely white. 

¡Hola! Para la tarjeta de hoy he elegido un "look" minimalista y he añadido color solamente en el fondo, mientras que el resto de elementos los he dejado totalmente blancos. 

For the background I used the "Dimensional Cubes Stencils" and three colors of Distress Oxide inks: Spun Sugar, Shaded Lilac and Tumbled Glass. I made the flowers using the die "Etched Magnolia Blossom" and the leaves with the die "Etched Meadow Flower and Leaves". 

Para el fondo he usado los sténcils "Dimensional Cubes" y tres colores de tintas Distress Oxide: "Spun Sugar", "Shaded Lilac" and "Tumbled Glass". Las flores las he hecho con el troquel "Etched Magnolia Blossom" y las hojas con el troquel "Etched Meadow Flower and Leaves". 

Diamond Wreath

Hi everyone! I have a new card to share with you today using the small images of a larger stamp set called "Magnolia Apple Blossom". 

¡Hola a todos! Hoy os quiero enseñar una nueva tarjeta que he hecho usando los sellos pequeños de un set de sellos grande llamado "Magnolia Apple Blossom". 

I simply stamped all the florals I needed and colored them with Copic Markers. Then I cut them out using the coordinating dies and arranged them around a diamond-shaped piece of paper. However, I realized I needed a bit more interest in the background, so I die cut the cover plate "Geo Tiles" by Pinkfresh Studio. 

Simplemente he estampado todas las imágenes que necesitaba y las he coloreado con rotuladores Copic. Después las he cortado usando los troqueles coordinados y las he colocado alrededor de un trozo de cartulina en forma de rombo. Cuando ya lo tenía, me he dado cuenta de que el fondo necesitaba un poco más de interés, asíq ue he troquelado el plato de Pinkfresh Studio "Geo Tiles".

Miss You

Hi there everyone! I'm taking some time out of my family vacation to show you this card that I made a couple of weeks ago. It's quite a simple design, but I love how it turned out. 

¡Hola a todos! He sacado un ratito de mis vacaciones en familia para enseñaros esta tarjet que hice hace un par de semanas. Es un diseño bastante sencillo, pero me encanta cómo ha quedado. 

I used the die "Sword Fern" to create a pattern on the background by die-cutting it several times in different shades of yellow. I glued them to the card and then stamped a sentiment from the set "Big and Bold" on vellum paper. I heat embossed the sentiment, die cut it with the coordinating dies, and stuck it in the center of the card with tiny foam squares. 

He usado el troquel "sword Fern" para hacer un patrón en el fondo al troquelarlo varias veces en tonos de amarillo diferentes. Los he pegado todos a la tarjeta y luego he estampado en papel vegetal un sentimiento del set "Big and Bold". He embosado el sentimiento en caliente, lo he troquelado con los troqueles coordinados y lo he pegado en el centro de la tarjeta con mini cuadrados de espuma. 

Floral Outline

Hi everyone! I'm back with another card to share with you and I can't believe it's August already! My first born will turn 7 years old in just three days. Where does the time go? 

¡Hola a todos! Ya estoy de vuelta con otra tarjeta para enseñaros y ¡no me puedo creer que ya estemos en agosto! Mi hijo mayor cumple 7 años en solo tres días. ¿Dónde se ha ido el tiempo?

Now, going back to the card, you can see this is a very simple design, kind of my favorite ones to make ;). I simply ink blended a rectangle in the middle of my card base using a stencil, then die cut the beautiful "Floral Stem Die" twice and place the florals around it. 

Ahora, volviendo a la tarjeta, podéis ver que se trata de un diseño muy sencillo, que es precísamente mi forma favorita de diseñar tarjetas;). Simplemente he coloreado un rectángulo en el medio de mi tarjeta base, después he troquelado dos veces el troquel "Floral Stem Die" y he colocadolas flores alrededor del rectángulo.
