Distress Oxides Over White Embossing

I love blending colors over a white embossed intricate stamp. It's really magical seeing those lines pop up as you apply color to your cardstock. But some inks definitely make it easier than others when it comes to this technique and Distress Oxide Inks are always my favorite choice. Why? Because they blend like butter, it's easy to apply a really soft layer of color and they don't tint the embossed lines. 

Me encanta utilizar tintas sobre un sello embosado en blanco. Ver como las líneas van apareciendo a medida que aplicas el color a la cartulina es pura magia. Pero algunas tintas te lo ponen mucho más fácil que otras y mis favoritas para esta técnica son las Distress Oxide. ¿Por qué? Porque se mezclan sin problemas, es facilísimo crear una capa de color muy suave con ellas y no colorean el dibujo embosado.

Para hacer esta tarjeta he usado el set de sellos "Botanical Heart" de Simon Says Stamp, he embosado el corazón grande sobre cartulina blanca y he aplicado encima las tintas Distress "Shaded Lilac" "Spun Sugar" y "Squeezed Lemonade". Para el sentimiento he usado el troquel "Miss You Dies" de CZ Designs. He troquelado el mensaje en cartulina blanca y la sombra en papel vegetal.

Hi there everyone! I'm back with a very soft summery-vibe card to share with you. I used a solid image from the stamp set "Greetings Mix 2" by Simon Says Stamp and the Glimmer System to create a foiled sentiment.
