Love and Hugs

Hello everyone! We are already in the second half of February and I didn't even noticed! Time is flying lately, seriously, which is maybe good cause that means Spring will be here real soon! I don't know about you but I'm so ready for warmer and sunnier weather :). And well, this card definitely screams Spring, don't you think?

¡Hola a todos! Ya estamos en la segunda quincena de febrero y ni me había dado cuenta. El tiempo vuela últimamente y a lo mejor eso es bueno ¡porque así la primavera va a llegar en seguida! No sé vosotros, pero no puedo esperar a que los días sean más largos y soleados :). Y bueno, esta tarjeta está gritando primavera por los cuatro costados ¿no os parece?

This is a quick and easy card using the embossing resist technique. I first stamped and heat embossed the amazing bouquet from the stamp set "Beautiful Flowers" by Simon Says Stamp on a longer piece of cardstock (8 1/4" by 3 7/8") to make sure the whole samp could fit. Then I added color with Distress Oxide inks and a Blender Brush. For the sentiment I used the same stamp set and heat embossed it on black cardstock. Lastly I added a few sequins and that was it!

Esta es una tarjeta muy fácil de hacer usando la técnica "resist". Primero he estampado y embosado las flores del set de sellos "Beautiful Flowers" de Simon Says Stamp en un trozo de cartulina más largo (21 x 10cm) para asegurarme de que todo el buqué cabía dentro. Después le he dado color a la cartulina usando tintas Distress Oxide y un cepillo mezclador. Para el sentimiento he usado el mismo set de sellos y lo he embosado sobre cartulina negra. Por último he añadido unas cuantas lentejuelas ¡y listo!
