Birthday card for my kid colored with Prismacolor pencils

Hi there! I'm publishing a day earlier this week because I'm going on vacation in a few hours but still wanted to show you the card I have made for my son's first birthday.

¡Hola!

It's not a super fancy card, and I also know I can't give it to my son now unless I want him to eat it ;). Nonetheless, I like the idea of writing a message each year and give them all to him once he can read.  You have all the details on how I made this card in the video below (and at my Youtube channel).

Hope you liked it! Have fun these two weeks and see you when I get back from holidays! :) XOXO

:) ¡Besitos!

  1. This is positively adorable Amanda. I love that you are writing him a special message each year. My daughter has two little boys (2 & 4 y/o) and she has written them a letter each year on their birthdays as well. Someday they will get to read them and I am sure they will cherish them! When my children were little I made them each a "treasure chest" which were filled by the time they were grown up. Its fun to see what each of them saved throughout the years... notes, pics, toys, etc.
Happy 1st Birthday to your little man and relax and enjoy a safe holiday.

  2. This is very cool! Your blending technique looks like it was done with Copic markers or chalks. Gorgeous!
