How to highlight images stamped on Kraft cardstock


Hello! I have always loved this oldie but goodie stamp set by Wplus9 called "Embroidered Bouquet". Those flowers are just beautiful don't you think? However, I find that stamping on kraft cardstock is a bit disappointing because you don't get such bright colors as you do when stamping on white. That's why I wanted to tell you about simple trick you can use to make those images stand out from the background :).

 ¡Hola! Siempre me ha enamorado este set de sellos de Wplus9 que se llama "Embroidered Bouquet". Esas florecillas son preciosas ¿no creéis? Aún así, considero que estampar imágenes en cartulina color craft siempre me deja un poco decepcionada porque los colores no quedan tan vivos como cuando estampas sobre blanco. Por eso hoy os traigo un truquillo para darle más luz a esas imágenes :).

And what's the trick? Just use a white gel pen to add a few dots! You will be surprised with the difference it makes...at least I was!:) But to know a bit more about what I just told you and how I made this card, better watch the video tutorial I have left below for you (or watch it at my Youtube channel).

 ¿Y cuál es el truco? ¡Simplemente utilizar un rotulador de gel color blanco y dibujar unos cuantos puntos! Os sorprenderá la diferencia...¡al menos es lo que me pasó a mí! :) Pero para saber un poco más sobre lo que acabo de deciros y sobre cómo he hecho esta tarjeta, mejor mirad el tutorial que os he dejado aquí debajo (o también podéis verlo en mi canal de Youtube).

    Uuuaaaalaaa! Flipo con el truco para destacar las tintas sobre el kraft... parece mentira el efecto óptico que el rotulador blanco produce! Muchas gracias por compartirlo, de verdad que tomo nota de este gran consejo.
    Pero por encima de todo, he de decir que tu tarjeta me parece de lo más bonita, dulce y delicada, como todos y cada uno de tus trabajos, con tu sello personal.

      Me alegra un montón que te parezca útil el truco! La verdad es que el blanco sobre craft siempre da una luminosidad increíble, me encanta esa combinación. Un besito guapa y gracias!
