Hello there! The day has finally come and this will be my last  post of the year! Next Friday I'll be home getting fat and spoiled by my wonderful mom:). But I didn't want to leave for a break before showing you the last Christmas card I have made. Could those Purple Onion Designs Stamps be any cuter?

Hello everyone! This is the second-to-last holiday card I have for you this year. It doesn't look like a traditional Christmas card but that's what I like most about it! You can use things that are not made for the season and still get a georgeous soft and shinny card that anyone would love to get in their mail. :)

¡Hola a tod@s! Esta es la penúltima tarjeta navideña que tengo para vosotros este año. No se parece mucho a la típica tarjeta de Navidad ¡pero eso es lo que más me gusta de ella! Puedes utilizar productos que no son específicos para las navidades y aún así diseñar una tarjeta muy sutil y brillante que a cualquiera le encantaría tener en su buzón. :)

Hello and happy December to you! How are your Christmas cards going? Mines are not even finished yet! :( I do have some ready though, like the one I want to share with you today. I'm going all goldish and glittery again because I just love those two things on a Christmas card! ;)

Hello there! Can you believe Black Friday is just round the corner? Last year there were amazing deals at my favourite stores and I'm sure this year is also going to be amazing. But many of them have their offers for 24 hours only and you can find yourself stressed over what to buy (specially when that item you wanted so much goes out of stock! argggg!). So this year I want to be prepared and that's why I have made a list of things I would like to get for a much better price. That way I can decide faster when the day comes! :)

Yoy Scrap New Challenge

Hello! It's time for a new challenge at Yoy Scrap!!! This is the last challenge of the year and even though Christmas is all over the place already, it has nothing to do with the holiday season. Or maybe it does? 
The theme is TRANSPORTATION and the requirement to use PATERNED PAPER WITH NUMBERS AND/OR LETTERS. So, maybe there is something related to the holidays there since we all travel during those dates right?

Hello everyone! I can't believe I'm finally back! 
First of all, sorry for leaving all of a sudden, I explained why I needed a break on my Facebook and Istagram account, but didn't have time to do it here, so just in case you didn't hear the news, here it goes...I BECAME A MOM! My little boy arrived earlier than expected and that's why I couldn't make a post telling you about my plans. But never mind because I'm here now with way less time than before, but very excited to start sharing my creations with you again.

Coloring butterflies with Prismacolor pencils

Hi! Today I want to share with you a card that I made to join the actual Runway Inspired Challenge. Don't you think this color combination is stunning? I used Prismacolor pencils to color the butterflies and I'm absolutely in love with them, I never imagined that I could get such intense colors with colored pencils.

How to highlight images stamped on Kraft cardstock

Hello! I have always loved this oldie but goodie stamp set by Wplus9 called "Embroidered Bouquet". Those flowers are just beautiful don't you think? However, I find that stamping on kraft cardstock is a bit disappointing because you don't get such bright colors as you do when stamping on white. That's why I wanted to tell you about simple trick you can use to make those images stand out from the background :).

¡Hola! Siempre me ha enamorado este set de sellos de Wplus9 que se llama "Embroidered Bouquet". Esas florecillas son preciosas ¿no creéis? Aún así, considero que estampar imágenes en cartulina color craft siempre me deja un poco decepcionada porque los colores no quedan tan vivos como cuando estampas sobre blanco. Customized background colored with Copics

Hi there! I bought this adorable stamp set from Wplus9 a few weeks ago and I'm so happy I finally got the time to use it! There are so many cute stamps in the set that I wanted to use them all! That's why I decided to create a background with a few different stamps and then color all the images with my Copics. It's actually an easy way to create a card even though the coloring can take a while ;).

¡Hola! Hace ya unas cuantas semanas que compré este set de sellos tan cuqui de Wplus9 y ¡por fin he podido usarlo! Hay tantos sellos monísimos en el set que no podía decidirme por uno solo, así que he usado unos cuantos para crear el fondo y después los he pintado usando mis rotuladores Copic. Es una tarjeta bastante fácil de hacer, aunque colorear las imágenes puede llevar un ratito ;).

However, I'm here today, so let me show you a birthday card I made using Prismacolor pencils and gamsol. I really love this technique and how you can make a great coloring with it. I wish I knew it back when I was a kid! ;)

Antes de nada, siento llegar un día tarde con mi "tarjeta de los viernes". ¡ No hubo manera de acabar a tiempo! :) Pero bueno, hoy estoy aquí y os traigo una tarjeta de cumpleaños hecha con colores Prismacolor y gamsol. Esta es una técnica que me encanta porque puedes conseguir resultados geniales con lápices de colores normales y corrientes. ¡Ojalá lo hubiera sabido cuando era una niña! ;)

Trying a new style: a challenge

Hello everyone! Today I'm playing along with a challenge that has been difficult for me (well, that's why they call it  a challenge right?) but at the same time has been an excellent learning experience. Taheerah Atchia has a great section at the Winnnie and Walter blog called "The Gossip column" and for this month issue she has interviewed an amazing cardmaker called Jocelyn Olson. By the end of the post you get a clear idea of what makes Jocelyn's style so special although you don't really understand how can she do it so gracefully. However, that's the challenge! Get inspired by her style and make a card.

¡Hola! Hoy participo en un reto que ha sido un poco difícil para mí (por eso lo llaman reto ¿no?), pero al mismo tiempo ha sido una gran oportunidad para aprender cosas nuevas. Taheerah Atchia tiene una sección en el blog de Winnie and Walter llamada "The Gossip column" y en la entrada de este mes ha entrevistado a una grande de la tarjetería: Jocelyn Olson. Al final de la entrevista tienes una idea bastante clara de qué hace tan especial el estilo de Jocelyn y al mismo tiempo sigues preguntándote cómo puede hacerlo parecer tan fácil. Hello there! As I showed you last Tuesday, I finally got my hands into some foil paper! Woohooo! So I obviously had to play with it a bit more and as a result today's card is full of shinny foiled butterflies!!! :)

Hello there! It's been a while since I got the adorable "Unforgettable" stamp set by Wplus9 and I finally used it today! There is something about this card that makes me smile every time I look at it. Could it be that cute baby elephant? ;)

Hello! It's Friday again and today I want to share with you the card that I made for my mom. Mother's day has already passed here in Spain, but since I live a bit far from my family I haven't delivered it yet (my bad).

Hello there! I just came back from a so-needed break and I'm really happy I can finally share a card with you again. I don't know if you have seen the SSS May card kit, but it is so georgeous I was almost crying because I won't get it this month. However, I felt in love with their color combination and decided to use it in this card. What do you think? :).

¡Hola! Ya vuelto de un descanso muy muy necesario y estoy super contenta de poder volver a compartir una tarjeta con vosotros. No sé si habéis echado un vistazo al kit de tarjetas de mayo de SSS, pero es tan bonito que casi lloro por no poder tenerlo este mes. La combinación de colores me parece tan bonita, que para pasar un poco la pena decidí hacer una tarjeta con esos mismos tonos. ¿Qué os parece? :)

And also wanted to remind you that we have a new card challenge going on!!! This time the theme is "Nature" and you are required to use die cuts when creating your card. You can see my interpretation of the challenge below.

Y aprovecho para recordaros que tenemos nuevo reto de tarjetas!!! Se trata de cumplir con la temática "naturaleza" y el único requisito es utilizar "die cuts". Aquí abajo os enseño mi interpretación.

¡Hola! Como en Semana Santa no pude hacerlo, me he tomado ahora unos días de descanso con la familia y no he podido preparar una tarjeta para hoy. Así que en vez de eso, he pensado que quizá os interese ver mis compras de marzo :). Si os apetece verlo, os dejo aquí un vídeo donde os enseño mis nuevas adquisiciones. Hello there! Since I couldn't go away for Easter, I have taken now a few days off to be with my family and I haven't been able to make a card for today.
